Fairport(6-1) needed overtime to defeat a scrappy Thomas(3-6) 8-7 and Penfield(4-5) used overtime to beat Victor(7-2) 7-6. Meanwhile Pittsford(5-4) was a 7-6 winner over Canandaigua(8-2). Spencerport(2-5) defeated Rush-Henrietta(5-4) with a scored of 9-7 and Hilton(6-2) took out Schroeder(4-4) 9-5. |

The Cadets scored the game winning goal 3:28 into the first overtime period with an unassisted goal from Brenden Howell. The Cadets controlled the ball for the majority of overtime and didn’t allow the Patriots a shot at the cage in overtime. Hilton scored three of the final four goals in the game after trailing 0-3 after the first 10 minutes. |

Junior face off middie, Shawn Doran won 13 draws (72%) and led the team in ground balls with twelve while Jacob Kelsey made a dozen saves (63%). Phil Barilla and Kessel Stefano each has 2g for Irondequoit. It was only the second win for Hilton against the Eagles since 2003. |

The Red Raiders led through most of the game; however, the Cadets took their first lead of the game with 7:13 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Red Raiders scored the final goal of regulation to send the game into overtime. Forty-five seconds into the first overtime period, Brennan Maloney scored off a feed from Spencer Bell to give the Red Raiders the win. |
# 658 Sweetlax Freshman Take Inside Lacrosse Invitational The Sweetlax Lacrosse Club sent a rising freshman team to the Inside Lacrosse Invitational Recruiting Tournament where they went 6-0 and took first place. The tournament, held at Goucher College (Baltimore, MD), was held from July 20-22. Sweetlax outscored opponents 75-25, allowed no more than seven goals against. The closed game, against FLG 2019 was 9-5. |
